Raffle Gust

Raffle Gust allows you to randomly select winners from a list of entries using synchronized visual animations.

Raffle Gust is designed for prize drawings, giveaways, name selection, and audience engagement.

When a raffle is run, the animation appears simultaneously on the host control panel, participant devices, and the presentation view.

Winners are selected randomly and displayed instantly.

How Raffle Gust Works

Raffle Gust sessions include three primary components.

Host Control Panel
You add entries, configure raffle settings, and trigger spins.

Participant View
Participants can view the raffle animation and winner selection in real time.

Presentation View
Displays the raffle animation and winner results for group viewing.

All animations and results are synchronized across devices.

Creating a Raffle Gust Session

To create a Raffle Gust session:

From your Dashboard, select Raffle Gust
Enter a title for your session
Select a visual style
Add entries (Entries should be made one on each line, or separated by a comma (ie: John, Jane, Shawn, Kimberly, etc.)
Configure winner settings
Click Go Live

Entries can be names, numbers, or custom identifiers.

Raffle Visual Styles

Raffle Gust includes multiple visual styles.

Classic Wheel
Displays entries on a spinning wheel. The wheel spins and lands on a randomly selected winner.

Vertical Spin
Displays entries scrolling vertically until a winner is selected.

Ticker Tape
Displays entries scrolling horizontally until a winner is selected.

Lottery Box
Simulates entries being mixed and drawn from a container.

Digital Code
Displays rapidly changing codes until a winning entry is selected.

Each visual style provides a different presentation experience while maintaining the same random selection process.

Some visual styles may require a paid plan.

Adding Entries

Entries can be added manually in the host control panel.

Each entry represents a potential winner.

Depending on your plan:

Free plans allow up to 15 entries
Paid plans allow unlimited entries

Entries can be edited or reset at any time before or during the session.

Assigning Prizes

Raffle Gust allows you to assign prizes to each drawing.

When a prize is assigned:

The prize name is shown alongside the winner’s name
The prize and winner appear on the presentation view
The prize and winner appear in the host control panel

This makes it easy to track which prize each winner received.

Prizes can be assigned before or during the session.

Running a Raffle

When the session is live, the host controls the raffle.

Available controls include:

Spin
Starts the raffle animation and selects a random winner.

Set Prize Label
Assigns a prize name to the current drawing.

Show or Hide All Winners
Controls whether the full winner list is displayed.

Spin Extra
Selects additional winners beyond the original target.

Reset
Clears winners and restores entries.

Edit Settings
Allows changes to the raffle configuration during the session.

End Session
Finalizes the raffle and returns to the Dashboard.

All spins are synchronized across all connected devices.

Winner Selection

You can configure how winners are selected.

Options include:

Number of winners to draw
Whether winners can repeat
Whether winners are removed after selection

This allows flexibility depending on the raffle format.

What Participants Experience

Participants join using the room code at:

aloftly.io/join and entering the 6-digit session code, or via the scannable QR session code.

Participants can:

View the raffle animation
See winners revealed in real time
View assigned prizes alongside winners

Participants do not need to enter a name to watch the raffle.

Managing and Reviewing Results

When the raffle ends:

Click End Session to finalize the session.

Winner results and prize assignments are saved.

You can review results from your Dashboard.
